Four Women, 220 Students, Four SDGs: The Driving Force Behind Wild Spirit’s School

More than 220 students attend Wild Spirit’s school each day in a Maasai community in Tanzania, supported by a dedicated team of women whose work keeps the school running.
Naomi, the school’s cook, prepares a nutritious daily meal that is essential for the students’ health and learning. Alongside her, teachers Mariam, Deborah, and Naserian lead classrooms across different educational levels.
In early childhood education, Deborah and Naserian teach more than 100 young children, guiding them through their first years of learning. In primary school, Mariam leads the second-grade class, providing consistent, high-quality education.
This team makes the school possible through the ongoing support of donors and partners, whose contributions allow Wild Spirit Foundation to fund their salaries and ensure the long-term continuity of the project.
According to the school’s director, Mosses Mollel, their dedication is fundamental to the success of the program and has a direct impact on the lives of every student.
What may seem like an ordinary school day is, in reality, the result of continuous commitment—creating opportunities for children and strengthening the future of the entire community.
Their work contributes directly to four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 5 – Gender Equality, and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
