Our Vision
We strive for a world where wildlife, ecosystems, and human communities thrive in balance — sustained by strong conservation systems, scientific knowledge, and shared global responsibility.
We believe that balance is an achievable horizon. When science, veterinary action, and collective commitment point in the same direction, we take another step toward the world we want to see.
Our Mission
To strengthen wildlife conservation through veterinary expertise, hands-on fieldwork, and scientific research — supporting the protection of threatened species and their ecosystems.
We build local capacity, empower professionals, and foster collaboration to generate lasting impact in the regions where we operate.
Identity, Approach & Scope
01
Wild Spirit develops and supports field conservation programmes, veterinary and scientific interventions, applied research projects, and capacity-building education initiatives — primarily across Africa.
02
Its activities aim to protect biodiversity, improve animal welfare, consolidate local capacity, and support communities that live alongside wildlife, promoting sustainable solutions.
03
The Organization operates through direct action and in close collaboration with local authorities, conservation organisations, scientific institutions, and communities — ensuring every intervention is grounded in scientific evidence, ethical standards, and a rigorous understanding of local contexts.

Our History
The nonprofit organization Wild Spirit® was born from the experience and impact of Wild Spirit Company®, driven by the conviction that strengthening veterinary support for wildlife across Africa is essential to effective conservation.

01
For over a decade, Wild Spirit® trained veterinarians and international professionals through hands-on field experiences in Africa, building a global network committed to the protection of wildlife.
02
That legacy was the starting point. Wild Spirit Foundation® was created to go further: to identify critical needs on the ground and implement concrete solutions through training, research, and direct action.

03
Today we operate as an international non-profit foundation, with entities in South Africa, Spain, and the United States — united by a single mission: to protect wildlife and ecosystems.
